June 17, 2016 Update:

Greetings Barham Family members:

We are happy with the positive responses we have received regarding this reunion.  We do however, regret to inform you that we have reached the cut-off for accepting funds as of today, Friday, June 17, 2016.  We are in the final stages of our preparations, and look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, July 2, 2016.

Just a few things we want to remind you of.  All adults and school aged children need to have a valid picture ID.  (Drivers license of state or federal issued ID, school ID for students).  All drivers will need to present vehicle registrations and proof of insurance.

Although the Warwick Pier Pavillion has picnic tables and chairs, you may want to bring your fold-up chairs (for comfort) if you have them.  Sunscreen, and insect repellant are two other items you may want to bring along with you.

The suggested arrival time for you is 10:00 a.m. This will allow you amble time to get through the main gain, travel to the Pavillion, park and check in at the Reunion Registration table.  The projected start time for the meal is 12:00.

I previously emailed you traveling directions, and directions for once you gain entry onto the base.  Please check your emails for this information.

Upon Arrival at Ft. Eustis, At the Main Gate

Upon entering the main gate on Ft. Eustis Blvd., you will need to be in the right lane, moving in the direction of the inspection area. Ft. Eustis Blvd. changes into Washington Blvd. once you get inside the gate. There is a 100% ID check at all gates at all times. Be sure that all adults in the vehicle have their ID’s to present to the gate guard upon arrival. Any child 16 and older must have a valid state, federal or school ID also.  If you are driving a rental car, present the rental contract with your authorized ID.

Please be sure ALL vehicle license plates are up to date (no expired stickers, etc.)  Make sure you have vehicle registration and proof of insurance available in the vehicle.

Follow Washington Blvd. crossing RR tracks and continuing through the traffic circle on until you get to the end of  Washington Blvd. and have to either go left or right (This will be Wilson Ave).  Turn left on to Wilson Ave. and follow it until you get to the intersection of Wilson and Perishing Aves.  Continue on Wilson Ave.  The name of our facility is the Warwick Pier Pavilion.  It sorta sits up on a hill.  Parking is in the loop.

We wish you all safe traveling mercies.
